Socially handicapped
persons are accommodated in cottages in the spacious grounds of the Sadan. The
younger girls study in the Sadan’s Higher Secondary School. The older girls and
women find employment in the Sadan’s other sections.
From 1928 socially and
economically handicapped women & girls have been looked after in our Home.
The younger girls study at our Higher Secondary School. The older girls &
women find employment in our other sections. During World War II 80 little
girls who were rescued during the evacuation of Burma were part of our Home.
Lady Andal nurtured and settled them all in life, including conducting
conducting their marriages at the Sadan.
