Lady Andal School

Transforming education with the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, Lady Andal School champions holistic learning and creating the next generation of global citizens

Lady Andal School

Building on the foundation of the Lady Andal Venkatasubba Rao Matriculation School, a landmark in inclusive education and a glittering jewel in the country’s academic landscape, Mrs. Krithika Kumar Quintal & Mrs. Tamara Ann Coelho, great-grandnieces of the founders, worked on transitioning Lady Andal School into IB.

Through the programmes offered, students embark on a transformative journey of exploration and reflection by connecting theoretical concepts learnt in the classroom to real-world applications.

To realize this vision, The Madras Seva Sadan has built a state-of-art school within the Chetpet campus. At the heart of it all, stands a 50 years+ old banyan tree which is a testament to the founders humble beginnings.

Facilities Of Lady Andal School

The new school is housed in a large and spacious, LEED certified building that features interactive learning via smart boards and an extensive library. The Lady Andal School also features an exclusive playground for children, in addition to the larger sporting facilities available to older students.

The School is fully networked and has secure, high speed internet that is accessible in all classrooms and seminar halls.

The Seminar hall features state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment with integrated sound and light systems.

An airy lunch area, nestled within the branches of the 50 year old tree, bring greenery into the school premises and ensures that children stay connected with nature.
