With 3 Turf wickets and multiple practice nets, ably supported by BCCI accredited coaches, Garuda Cricket academy has been consistently generating wins in various inter-school and inter-state events.

Pioneering Excellence at The Madras Seva Sadan's Multi-Sports Hub

The Garuda Cricket Academy was established in 2019 to give special focus to Cricket played at the school level. The Madras Seva Sadan took a visionary step and created a Turf cricket ground, in order to provide the best facilities for cricket in the city.

This is in addition to creating a network of cricketing infrastructure in all its campuses (Tambaram and Chetpet) to create the next generation of cricketing champions, from the city.

The world class infrastructure of the academy, coupled with best-in-class equipment and stellar coaching, has resulted in the schools’ teams winning various inter-school and inter-state events, in a very short period of time. The school team, very recently won the under-14 inter-school cricket championships, underlining the impact of the Cricket Academy.

Garuda – The Cricket Academy, stands as a cricketing haven in the heart of the city, especially at the school level.

The academy boasts of a full-fledged cricket ground featuring two centre turf wickets, multiple Astro-turf wickets and nets for practice, as well as an automated bowling machine. The academy's BCCI-accredited coaches have already led the under-14 cricket team to victory in inter-school championships, showcasing the potential for future cricketing stars.

With space becoming more and more scarce and the need to find place for more infrastructure the institutions have taken to the skies, with multi-purpose Futsal and Basketball courts having been installed on the roofs of our schools.

This, coupled with the international standards based infrastructure, along with top-of-the-line cricketing equipment and gear, allow students get the chance to experience actual match situations even before playing in bigger sporting venues.

This has resulted in winning championships as a team, while also allowing talent to be fostered and recognized at the school level. Several of our cricketers have been selected to play at different state level division and league matches, at the under 12, under 14, under 16 and under 19 levels..
